Pelosi tosses Weiner out of the bun and under the bus!

In a stunning reversal of fortune for the serial sexting calamitous congressman, it appears even Nancy Pelosi has had enough of the wayward weiner, as she calls for his resignation amid fresh accusations of his communications with a 17 yr old high school junior. The former speaker and present minority leader released this statement... Weiner "needs help" and he should get some "without the pressures of being a member of Congress."

As articles appeared across the headlines just this morning proclaiming how Rep. Weiner could "ride this out" and weather the storm to save his seat in congress, it looks as if the only ride he will be taking is on a rail out of town as the roar for his resignation becomes louder and more widespread by the hour. (D) Rep. Chris Van Hollen is calling for his immediate resignation along with Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the Democratic party chairwoman. Wasserman Schultz called Weiner's continued service in Congress "untenable," and added that "this sordid affair has become an unacceptable distraction."

A spokesperson for Weiner  announced that...“Congressman Weiner departed this morning to seek professional treatment to focus on becoming a better husband and healthier person. In light of that, he will request a short leave of absence from the House of Representatives so that he can get evaluated and map out a course of treatment to make himself well. Congressman Weiner takes the views of his colleagues very seriously and has determined that he needs this time to get healthy and make the best decision possible for himself, his family and his constituents."

This treatment ploy comes across as nothing more than a feeble attempt to buy time and cover in hope the spotlight will turn in another direction as he waits out the crises under the guise of "therapeutic healing"...sorry, not gonna work congressman, the time to go is NOW!
