Neil Armstrong, first man to step foot on moon, dies at 82.

Neil Armstrong has died. Once again he has left this world for other Heavenly bodies on a travel across a void, this journey not encumbered by time or distance. At 10:56:15 p.m. EDT July 20, 1969, he became the first man to step foot on our moon. He stood on the dusty plains of the Sea of Tranquility and gazed back at our Earth with a reality from across the dreams of eons.From the beginning of man, not one human that ever lived had not starred up at our majestic moon and wondered what the experience would entail to be there, to look back and behold the Earth as it truly is. To comprehend it`s frailty, it`s unparalleled beauty, it`s silence as it makes it`s lonely orbit across the void of space must have been an awe inspiring moment as he stood and beheld the reality of mans` existence as no one before him ever had.
As with all explorers` and seekers` he had great courage, he had vision and a willingness to put uncertainties and fear aside, to defy the odds of a safe return, to venture as few ever will into an unparalleled moment in history. Neil Armstrong is now free from the bonds of Earth, the confines of man, and the body of age. Godspeed Neil Armstrong and thank you for being the chosen one from so many it could have been. You displayed great dignity and humility in your life, you sought not fame or fortune, nor admiration or rewards, you set the example for what it truly means to be a great American...
